The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Regional Office Lucknow has released an official notification for the engagement of PGTs, TGTs, Librarian, and Staff Nurse on a contractual basis for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible candidates can apply online within the prescribed dates.

This recruitment is for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) located in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand under the Lucknow Region.

 Eligibility Criteria (Summary)

 PGT Qualification

• Master’s Degree in concerned subject (minimum 50% marks)
• B.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution
• Proficiency in Hindi & English medium

 TGT Qualification

• Graduation in concerned subject with required subject combination
• B.Ed. Degree (NCTE recognized)
• CTET (Paper-II) qualified
• Ability to teach in Hindi & English

 Librarian

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science (minimum 50%)
• Knowledge of Computer Applications

 Staff Nurse

• B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN/RM)
• 2.5 years experience in 50-bed hospital

• Maximum 50 years as on 1st July 2026
• Up to 65 years for Ex-NVS / Superannuated Government teachers
