Pay Scale (7th Pay Commission)

  • Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 (Academic Level 14)

  • Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100 (Academic Level 13A)

  • Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 (Academic Level 10)

Other allowances will be applicable as per State Government orders.

Professor & Associate Professor

  • UR / UR-PwD / OBC-A / OBC-B: ₹2000

  • EWS / SC / SC-PwD / ST: ₹500

Assistant Professor

  • UR / UR-PwD / OBC-A / OBC-B: ₹1000

Eligibility Criteria

Professor

  • Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline

  • Minimum 10 research publications

  • 10 years teaching/research experience

  • Minimum Research Score: 120 (UGC Appendix-I)

OR

  • Outstanding professional with Ph.D. + 10 years experience in industry/academia

Associate Professor

  • Ph.D. in relevant subject

  • Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks

  • 8 years teaching/research experience

  • Minimum 7 publications

  • Research Score: 75

Assistant Professor

  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks

  • NET / SLET / SET qualified

OR

  • Ph.D. from a Top 500 ranked foreign university (QS / THE / ARWU)

Age Limit (Assistant Professor)

  • Maximum Age: 40 years

  • SC/ST: +5 years

  • OBC (NCL): +3 years

  • PwD: +10 years

  • Interview by Selection Committee

  • Selection strictly as per UGC 2018 & WB Government norms
